I just picked up a second 980 ti and need to know if My motherboard doesn't support sli or if I'm doing something wrong. If it doesn't I'm just gonna return it.

Not really, I can easily return it. I think I'm gonna go pick up and new motherboard though. As annoying as it will be to set up.

If you want a new motherboard with SLI support, you'll also need new RAM. You should be able to sell your current motherboard and RAM to make some of that money back though.

Budget and currency for an upgrade? Also, what case and PSU do you have? Would be useful if we knew which CPU you had as well.

What specific PSU? Make and model? You'll need new RAM because you're running DDR3(L) RAM and there are no SLI capable motherboards that support DDR3(L), so you'll need to get DDR4. DDR3(L) isn't very safe with Skylake anyway, it does damage to the IMC over time. We need a budget and currency as well.

probably around $200 usd for everything. I just spent $600 on the card and psu.
