If a game I have on Xbox 360 is backwards compatible with Xbox one am I able to just put the disc in?

Yes and it will download the game to work on your Xbox one.

I believe so I bought a lot of my games digitally.

if you bought a 360 game digitally and it is now backwards compatible you will need to log in on the account you bought the game on and it will be in you "Ready to Download" section.

yes

if it is backwards compatible it should ask to download as soon as you put disc into the xbox really simple to do check out the compatible list on xboxs website!
