So, my suggestion is $100-$150 cheaper with a better motherboard, better case, better PSU, more RAM, larger SSD, larger HDD, and a significantly better cooler. Explain how the keyboard is "silly". How can a keyboard even be "silly"? It won't run everything 4k without a 4k monitor though, so include the 4k monitor in that system you suggested and it would cost more than what I suggested and it doesn't include a keyboard at all. What's he meant to do, use a mouse and pretend he has a keyboard?

well if you looked, it said the price was $1400 without the peripherals so if he wanted a mouse and keyboard he could get $20 ones for cheaper than your setup.

i7 Will easily handle gaming, editing, rendering, etc. Nice cooler to OC the 6700K as far as you can push it, if you wish. 16GB RAM is plenty, but you still have room to add 2 more sticks easily. Nice big SSD for your OS and favourite/most used games and programs. HDD for media and smaller/less used games, programs, etc. 2.5TB will be plenty for now and you can easily add more storage whenever. SLI support so you can easily add a 2nd GTX 1070 at any point. With this kind of budget, you're going to need nice peripherals so I included those for you. Nice RGB mouse, nice mechanical RGB keyboard, and a nice 4k monitor. For monitor, you could go 3440x1440 ultrawide or 1440p 144Hz instead of 4k if you wanted. Also left some money in the budget for you to play with, I'd put $60 towards an NZXT Hue+ for your system and buy pizza/games with the $50-100 or so you'll have left.

I like this. Anymore ideas so i can compare and contrast? Also, do I have to take this somewhere then and get it built right? Would it be easy to find someone to put this thing together?

Some places will build it for you, but they'll try to price gouge the living hell out of you. Why do you think a lot of companies that sell pre-built PC's cost so much? They know they can get away with charging people extra money for labour because people don't want to build it or they're scared to do it. Honestly building a PC on your own isn't that hard, it's literally like adult legos, you won't break any parts unless you're trying to break them. Watch someone on YouTube build a PC so you can get an idea of how it'll look. It may take you a couple of hours, but that's the fun in it. You took the time to build it, then when it's all done you get to relax and enjoy your new PC. I was the same way when I built my first PC almost 8 years back, I thought I would end up breaking a bunch of parts because I am not the most delicate person at all when it comes to objects. Nothing was broken at all, it took me 4 hours my build but now I build them in about an hour if I don't get side trapped or if I'm not drunk off my ass. Just make sure when building it to stay away from carpet and anything else that can cause a lot of static electricity.
