Hey guys, I just installed a 1080 ti today in my pc but I'm having a problem. Every game I play gets stuttering and fps drops with v sync on. On wildlands I get 80 fps on ultra, with vsync it goes from 50-60 constantly. It does it on The witcher 3, mass effect andromeda, watch dogs 2, gta 5, etc... If anyone has any suggestions please let me know. I'd appreciate it.

Thanks

GPU- evga 1080 ti
CPU- i7 6700k
RAM 16gb ddr4 2133mhz
MB- MSI z170a krait gaming 3x
PSU- evga 850 bronze 80+
Monitors- Samsung 4k 28" , Asus 1080p 27"
All drivers are fine

80-90 fps, no stuttering. But terrible screen tearing.

It's honestly probably just something with it being a new card to the market. Give it some time to let nvidia fix the issues

Let nvidia take care of it, you may just have to be patient.

Yeah I have the same problem on my 1080ti, I thought it was something to do with my monitor, but I don't know.

drop the settings to high/Very high and see if there is a difference or lower your res on the 4k to 1440, or try your 1080p. Give this card a little time mature as stated above.
