So we have a note, a single gunshot wound to the head, a gun in the person's right hand with the blood splatter on the left if they were facing away from the desk when they did it - which explains why she fell the way she did - heavy smoking judging by the ash tray, a can of what could very well be alcohol, barefoot in comfortable clothing, a stool tipped over meaning she was sat down when she was shot, and again, a note.

You don't have to finish every cigarette you start smoking and if someone was coming to kill you would you be sat there smoking a cigarette with your gun in your [apparently] weaker hand with your back to a window which can clearly be seen through from outside?

If the person coming to kill her had enough skill to hit her in the head before she even had a chance to drop her cigarette and put her gun into her dominant hand then they could have just shot her through the window, or she wouldn't be sat by the window for fear that they would.

Well the pen or pencil is laying on the left side of the paper and with the writing point facing the right, so I would assume the person is left handed and the paper is faced in a way as if the person was writing with their left hand?

Imagine a piece of paper on your desk in front of you at that angle. Imagine writing on it with your left hand.
It's just unnecessarily awkward and yes, the pen is facing towards the left side of the paper. If you have a pen in front of you and are right handed you probably put your pen down in exactly the same way, over and away from your hand so it's facing the same direction that you were writing.

True true, then damn I don't know lol

I just Googled the picture and the most common answer people give is that it's a murder. I don't think there is a definitive answer though, unless someone finds the painter and asks them.

This was pretty convincing for me though:

1. the bullet entered from the left to the right when sitting facing the desk thus the blood spatter on the wall
2. shes holding a cigarette on the left hand and a firearm on the right hand BUT theres a pen and note on the desk
3. observe the ash tray its towards the left which confirms that she was smoking with her left hand while writing the note using her right hand
3. she later put then pen and took the firearm with the right hand as the left still held the smoke
4. the chair is round which suggest she was not limited to movement she then turned her back against the table
5. with her right hand she fired
6. the chair confirms that her back was against the table as it fell under the table whereas if it she was facing the table it would have fallen away from the table
7. her knees are facing the opposite direction to the table confirming that she was sitting with her back against the table
8. the chair fell behind her knees also confirming the seating direction to be against the wall
9. the shoe belongs to the right leg also confirming direction on seating.

in conclusion she shot herself but the confusion is on the seating position

SHE HAD HER BACK AGAINST THE TABLE NOT FACING THE TABLE SHE SHOT HER SELF FROM RIGHT TO LEFT NOT LEFT TO RIGHT

SUICIDE

Murder that was staged like a suicide, and the other sandal was taken as a trophy. #NailedIt. For real though, where is the other sandal? It is weird that there is only one.
