I am a professional designer that currently works as a freelancer doing commission work only. All I have to say about this is no. The lighting is off (coming from a bunch of random places), the text is just floating there, the fire is poorly (or quickly) cropped and doesn't fit where it is, and there are a few more minor things like failure to correct colors and shading. Practice makes perfect. Keep working on it and you'll get better overtime.

On every piece of work you provided on your topic, the text is "just floating there" your cc's are basic, it looks like you just slapped text on pictures and your cc work is pretty much non existent, your stock work is all over the place and it's either not enough or way to much and sparatically placed and on this piece and like all my pieces have 1 light source. Also you do not have to start your "criticism" with boosting your own ego.

I agree I was a little harsh. I apologize for that. But when you say I slap text over a picture you are so wrong. You can go back and watch me on stream doing work for people. That Rust banner for example took 4 images to create one background. I would say I do a damn good job at what I do considering you seem to think what you do.

As I said before I apologize for being so harsh but I was just speaking my mind as you are to me.

PS: I was trying to be helpful, but if you do not seem to want that then I will back away.

EDIT: Commenting on what you said about my CCs. I keep them basic because sometimes non-basic is too much, especially with 2D work.

Also @Fujiwhara, as I was going through the comments on here, I noticed you downvoting everyone who has something other then "perfect" with his work. Don't come in talking smack when you're riding Joyner's pole whether he knows it or not, because I nor' anyone else on here will take you seriously when it comes to criticism once they see that.

I downvoted 1 guy because all he did was say it didnt stand out, that's not useful info, he needs to tell him how he can improve it.

That's where you're wrong, I post here to get opinions and constructive criticism, nothing about yours was constructive in the slightest it was just you showing your arrogance and stroking your ego, if you can say something to actually help me improve the design i.e offering improvements rather than simply pointing out what is wrong then that is 100% welcome
