Coming up to my 20th and I'm wanting a laptop, what are the best ones for a budget of £200-£300 GBP ( $280-$420) USD
I need something that's very fast, Internet browsing etc
I will be using it for modding with my RGH, so will need to be able to run most programmes like Xbox 360 Neighborhood, Skype, Cain and Abel, WinRAR etc.
I absolutely hate Windows 10 so preferably a Windows 7-9 as they're so much easier to handle
2.0+ Ghz and a decent RAM and Memory Capacity
USB ports (obviously)
Lightweight
Like I said budget is £300 max guys
All Suggestions I like will get +rep
NO PC'S!!!

For that price you're more than likely going to be looking at a Chromebook or a Notebook rather than a laptop. Unless you'd be willing to buy one second hand.

This one pretty much falls within your budget. Although it comes with a preinstalled version of Windows 10, it shouldn't be too difficult installing Windows 7 instead.

Are notebooks any good? Will I be able to use every thing I've listed on it? Thanks for the opinion

Notebooks tend to be on the lower end of the spectrum in terms of spec, due to their size and price. The programs you mentioned don't seem to be too intensive at first glance, but then again, it all comes down to the requirements and how many programs you are running at a given time.

Good luck on the hunt

For that budget, go to a store that sells laptops and buy the one you like most.

I use to have one of these before I built my pc and it got what I wanted done. I don't think it would be a bad start (I could be wrong) But if you run out of USB ports you can always get a usb hub
