Yes just download the update on ps3 website 4.82 and install it on your ps3 via usb

Install a fresh version of your current CFW then update to the official firmware or read below
I was curious so I tried myself and got caught in a update loop. (I suspect webman caused the issue)
The only way to fix it was to replace the hard drive then update,change to the original and update to official firmware again.
