I restarted Windows and it said something about keeping files and games downloaded ect but it's now finished and I've got only 30gb left out of 1tb... so I'm pretty sure all the games I had are invisible some how?

Any help?

Download [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] and run a scan of the drive in question. It'll see where they are if they are still on your drive.

Damn I remembered when this happened to me the only thing that fixed it was a full recovery.

Could you open the explorer ?

If yes navigate to your your main HDD and search for files which are lager than 128 MB.

Type in the search bar "size:>Gigantic".

Hope I could help

System recovery is another option.

Alternatively try running disk cleanup within Windows, might be Windows updates duplicates.

[ Register or Signin to view external links. ] is a tool that can free up space on your HDD and may help to clear some things you didn't know were there like temp files, old windows installations from updating, etc

They also have a tool built into the program called 'disk analyzer' or something along those lines which does basically what windirstat does and shows what files are the biggest and what files are taking up what amount of data on your hard-drive. Hopes this helps.
