So my tv is mounted right above my monitor and there is just the 1 power cable running from my tv down the wall to the wall socket. I was wondering if anyone has any ways I can try to cover this ugly wire up?

Can you provide an image of your setup? It would be easier to suggest something IMO with a reference to go off of.

If it's not too bad I'd suggest spiralling if not plastic trunking down the wall both are cheap options...edit ignore my spiralling idea as its 1 wire I'd go with the other option

This might be a weird one, but what about an LED strip covering it? Could add a cool effect while being productive getting rid of the wire.

Yeah I was kind of thinking the same but they almost look like what you posted. If he was able to get a few of them and add a design some how it may look a little better. I could be completely wrong though

Simple: Don't use a TV Cable.
Joking is your wall solid? or hollow, as you could put the plug socket through the wall that way it would be completely hidden
