I literally haven't played runescape since the mid 2000's but i see loads of people talking about RS3 and how good it is.

its an item you can sell for millions then you can literally buy every skill then just level up that way. RS3 is soooo quick to level. Having 1bil xp is classed as low

Okay, first things first, you need a goal. Try getting a month membership if possible to start. Imo, f2p is a waste of time. The best goal to aim for is to finish Plague City. That keeps you motivated to train all your stats equally. If you can't get membership, that's fine, you can just train your melee stats up to 70 or so in the stronghold of security. And while your at it, you can finish all the f2p quests before getting membership so you don't waste any time.
The quest needed are:
- Making History
- The Restless Ghost
- Priest in Peril
- Catapult Construction
- Within the Light
- Mourning's Ends Part II
- Mourning's Ends Part I
- Big Chompy Bird Hunting
- Sheep Herder
- Roving Elves
- Waterfall Quest
- Regicide
- Underground Pass
- Biohazard
- Plague City
And the stats needed are:
75 Construction
75 Dungeoneering
75 Agility
75 Crafting
75 Herblore
75 Mining
75 Prayer
75 Summoning
As for early money making, green dragons are still fantastic money. try getting the common quests out the way like monkey madness.
Mage is extremely cheap and very powerful, if you have a decent mage level.

I'd literally just sit there and get your woodcutting up, gaining XP whilst making enough money to buy good gear so you can get ready for combat.
