I don't get it, Stalin was estimated to have killed around 20 million people. If this is true, then he killed around 3 to 4 times as many people as Hitler. Why is it we all know about Hitler? But yet I had never heard about Stalin until reading the book "Animal Farm- George Orwell". Why is it something we have learned nothing about or even heard anything about? Like on Discovery Channel you can always find some kind of show about Hitler, or the wars, but you hear anything about Stalin or the Russians? I just don't get why. Ideas?

Take a world history and you'll learn all about Stalin, Mother Russia, and the Iron Curtain. Also, it is estimated that his regime killed anywhere from 3-60 million people.

"All animals are equal, some animals more equal than others!"
Stalin was made to look like the goody guy using propaganda and what not. Is probably why you hear nothing of him. 8)

Haha but 20 million body's would be rather hard to hide : . But it seems like nevertheless it would be something people would still know about.

It's probably because Hitler and Stalin thrived during the same period. Hitler was much more aggressive and evil, and he was the main cause of WWII. Stalin was simply an ally of Hitler.
~Hitler had 10 million Jews killed(not including any other races) so that figure of Stalin killing 3-4x more is bs.
If you've actually taken history classes, you learn about all the dictators, not just Hitler.

10 million Jews? No.
It was 6.6 million
Get your facts right before you try to argue your point.
