The most common file to modify in MW2 is the MP_DATA file. Which is the MultiPlayer Data. This file controls all the elements of MultiPlayer gameplay, such as how much experience is earned when you kill some one. (from 100+ to 2.578e+) After these patches have been released, the MP_DATA file has been HIDDEN, not gone. If these patches removed MP_DATA, then there would be no online play. The new location of the MP_DATA file is most likely within the CACHE of your 3rd Partition, not your Content. If you view your Cache, you will see that is were the most files are stored. The file has probably been renamed to numerical characters, like all the others. People like myself and The Tech Game need to keep looking, and not give up.

well he has a point. im pretty sure mp_data controls ALL multiplayer, not just online or just offline. and yes. if IS had deleted it there would be no multiplayer, so in turn it must be a hidden file.
