TIMES UP!!! ANSWER IS
sec^2(x) = 1/cos^2(x)
tan^2(x) = sin^2(x)/cos^2(x)
Substituting this in the equation, we get:
1/sin^2(x) + (1/cos^2(x)/(sin^2(x)/cos^2(x)
= 1/sin^2(x) + cos^2(x)/sin^2(x)cos^2(x)
= 1/sin^2(x) + 1/sin^2(x)
= 2/sin^2(x)
= 2cosec^2(x)
sec^2(x) = 1/cos^2(x)
tan^2(x) = sin^2(x)/cos^2(x)
Substituting this in the equation, we get:
1/sin^2(x) + (1/cos^2(x)/(sin^2(x)/cos^2(x)
= 1/sin^2(x) + cos^2(x)/sin^2(x)cos^2(x)
= 1/sin^2(x) + 1/sin^2(x)
= 2/sin^2(x)
= 2cosec^2(x)

You do realize that maybe 9-10 people on this site actually know trig right? I know like super lightweight trig and that's it.
