Ok i have seen a few post about sledgehammer games, and the next call of duty. So i thought id give people a little insight in to this and will update this thread to when new news becomes available.

About Sledgehammer
Sledgehammer games is a company that is owned fully by activision, it opened in mid 2009 with Glen Schofield and Michael Condrey as studio heads. They claim to be focused on employing the best of the best in the game development world, stating that there games will be well crafted, polished innovative and provide high quality entertainment for all players and they say that they are focused don great games with the customers (players) in mind.

It is said that sledgehammer is not making the 2011 game but the release the year after but im not 100% this is true as no other studio is claiming to be creating a 2011 release of the franchise

I think it isn't, From what im reading, 2 cods will be released in 2011, as Infinity Ward DOES still excist, and there have been court dates flying around.

Infinity Ward is rumoured to be making another cod...
