Hi TTG, This is my first post but I've been looking at this site for months. On Christmas, I got the new 250GB Xbox 360 slim and the console has been completely silent until now. The power brick has started making a really loud blowing noise and I know that it's caused by the new fan that they built into it but is there any way that I can make it quieter? Its so loud that I can hear it even though I have my x11's on! Can I use the old power brick on my new console? :

Im pretty sure you cant use an old power brick because of different power levels needed to power it so just stick it out or buy a replacement??

It's the power brick. The new power brick has a built in fan that keeps it cool but is really loud!

What do you mean? Keep taking the power cable out of my xbox or out of the brick its self?
