I know you all know the M16 in Black Ops.
Now, correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't the M16 during that era SEMI automatic and only have a 20 round mag?

Correct, however I think treyarch just wanted players that loved 3 burst to feel at home, after all the FN FAL for example is a fully automatic that can switch to single fire.

In more modern days the M16 can switch between Single/3burst/fullauto at any given time.
They should have added an attachment for these guns that lowers power for full auto :arrow:

In vietnam the m16a1 was fully automatic no selector switch and did not have a deflection for left handers. The m16a2 came out in the 80's which was 3 round burst selectable to single shot.

The m16 can not full auto the m4 can however....

Sure it may have been. But they want their players to have fun, and not be too realistic.

they also had a silenced AK. which up until recently has been impossible. and even the way it is. youd have to detach the entire barrel.

some things are just meant for fun.

The m16a1 is a fully automatic rifle.. .223 round.... M4 carbine....223 round but why in mw2 the m16a4....223 is much stronger than the m4
