Right dont call me stupid for saying this, but are you saying they could be using ISO's? I Might go and try right now to make a iso for mw2 8)

This is very similar to the theory i posted a little while ago. Although everyone made it seem like i had no idea what i was on about.

However, i still think that if you alter the code, it will become unsigned.
I have contacted a few people with XDK's to see if they will sign some stuff with XNA for me, but i still have strong doubts.
