Hey guys, ive seen alot of people posting microsoft point generators, and i wanted to give you some information on why they DONT work.

What is a microsoft point generator:

It is a program created by someone to either:

• Keylog your computer. (Anything you type can be tracked by that person.)
  
• Send the details you put into it to an email. (steal your information.)
  
• Infect your computer with all sorts of viruses (Rats, keyloggers, ect.)
  
• Or just be a prank.

Why they are created:

They are created for the sole purpose of damaging your computer/stealing of information. You may want microsoft points, and they show fake proof of it working, thus making you want to download it. Putting in real information or even downloading it could cause harm to your computer.

Why they DO NOT work:

If you havent relized it yet, they don't work. Here is why in a pretty simple term.

Codes are made. They have 3 Lights.

• - Green - Code is activated and can be redeemed.
  
• - Yellow - Code is made but has not been activated.
  
• - Red - Code has been used.
  

When a code is made, the "light" on the code is changed to Yellow. It will stay yellow until it is bought. When you buy the code, the store clerk has to slide it through the scanner. It will be sent to Microsoft and the "light" goes Green. Your card is activated. Now you may redeem the code. There is no limit to how long it stays Green before the code becomes deactivated. Once you click Redeem on xbox or xbox.com, That one second where it loads, it is being sent to Microsoft again. This time, the "light" is now changed to Red. Your code is now absolutly useless. It will not work again.

Conclusion:

Since all those steps have to be made to activate a card, a microsoft point generator could not be real. It cant make codes and change the "light" on them.

The only way for a microsoft point generator would be if someone really generous were to make a program, buy 100s of codes, program them to randomly pick the codes, and release the program.

OR

the reason why code generators don't work is because the code needs to be activated and there is no way to activate the code using these nice little hacking programs. The only instance where I know people were getting tons of microsoft points for free was because of a little mishap with a microsoft point giveaway on the xbox website and people were getting free microsoft points by revisiting the page over and over again but was later patched within 24 hrs.
