Hey guys,

I bought a Jtag not to long ago and when i try to update to the new dash it gives me a E71 error. Someone else tried who is experienced and the same thing happened. He said it might be my soldering so i opened my xbox. Can you guys tell me if this is right?

IF my pictures are not clear just say so.... didnt want to take out the motherboard. Thanks

You need better pictures, turn up the quality level on your camera and repost them, it to hard to see where your wires are connected to the board and thats what we need to see.

Just take a couple of pictures, but I don't think that is your problem, did your jtag work fine before you tried to update it?

You don't need to do that, you can do the three wire method. If your jtag worked fine before you updated then there is something wrong with your update, Do you know if you have a freeboot image or a XBR image?
