i havent yet got a jtag but will hopefully have one by next week, but i have a few queries im struggling to get clear idea on.

basically if i get told to download a dashboard updateon the xbox i decline it yes?
What about when i run a game if it says it needs to downlaod update for the game? do i decline this too?

Is there anyway to disable updates completely so it doesnt even ask me to do it?

If it ask's for a dashboard/system update, ALWAYS press No.

You can download game update's though.

And you can't disable the update's.

do games not contain dashboard updates too though? i thought that they only worked if dashboard was up to date? or is that only when conected to live?
