I've recently gotten myself back into Halo Wars after a long time without playing;
I began again on a new account and ranking up is a pain for me given I don't have a sufficient amount of time to acquire a good rank.
I've been trying to GPD mod to get the General rank using Modio but it doesn't seem to work.
So my question for you guys is: Has the GPD mod been patched, if not, how would I go about doing it properly?
The steps I have taken are as follows; just in case I may have slipped up somewhere that I am unaware of:
1. Extracted my profile to my desktop from my USB using Modio's device explorer.
2. Opened my profile in Modio's resigner using File -> Open with (Dragging and dropping didn't work)
3. File Contents -> Inject into root -> Overwrite/Replace "4D530808.gpd"
3a. I also tried replacing the file directly using "Replace File -> 4D530808.gpd"
4. Rehashed and Resigned.
5. Replaced my existing profile with the modded and resigned one
6. Transferred it from my USB drive to my HDD and cleared my cache.
7. Started Halo Wars, declined the update, played skirmish for about a minute as instructed, no success
Other notes: Injecting the file into root using Modio seems to corrupt my profile; Replacing the file doesnt work; I also tried this with Le Fluffie, didn't work.
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. I couldn't get help with this anywhere else and the search function held no results. Thanks for your time!

It could have been patched!
Or, just Re-download an old version of modio,
Older Modio's work much better than newer ones I find!
