Turn your speakers off when you're using your headphones? 8ODoesn't work. already tried -_- i cant hear anything in my headphones so muting speakers just leads to no sound at all

Ok so I have a problem in which everytime i plug in my headphones and play a video or game, it plays through my speakers not my headphones.
