I was wondering how I could upgrade my iPod Touch 2G from 3.1.2 to 3.1.3 without losing any jailbroken apps or data. Is there any tutorial on how to do that?

Best way is to sync the apps onto the computer and then jailbreak it because jailbreaking it will reset the ipod

No because upgrading filmware is basically like restoring your iPod and then it will sync your iTunes library. If it's not jailbroken, it won't be possible.

Well I already have 3.1.2 jailbroken and most of my apps are on synced on iTunes but I was worried even if it is it would delete apps like winterboard, cydia, and themes

just tansfer all the apps to the comptuer then undate the firmware then jailbreak it and downlde appsync then ur good just put it all on the ipod

go on cydia and download "aptbackup" it backs up everthing.
