i am buyin a capture card and i was wonderin if this was the right thing to get? and if it is any good,or some reccomendations [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

get the video recorder.
it comes with pinnacle 12. good for making montages.

Yes that is a correct capture card to buy. You will need extra cables depending on your tv.

this dazzle IS pretty good .
if you record with the dazzle it must be connected to pc!
you only need the software wich is gettin to ya with the dazzle package!
if you wanna record with xbox you can buy a xbox360 s-video cable but with that there can't be sound !
or you buy 3 a/v splitters and a a/v composite cable than you have sound and good vid !

please give me some rep and take a look at [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] there is a tutorial for a dazzle setup.

Sometimes dazzles have crappy quality.
go on youtube and look up quality tests
