So my friend so desperately wanted tenth prestige...it sounds bad already, i know. anyways so he gives a guys his info *Facepalm* and after about 10 minutes i notice some funny bidness going on. He is on my friends account but at dashboard not MW2 then when I try to send him a message because my friend isnt 10th prestige he deletes me off my friends friend list. My friend tries signing in password changed. so basically the guy stole the account. so my friend has me reset the password by sending it to his email (he cant use comp atm) so I do i change the password. When I try to recover it says Windows Live ID not Associated With Gamertag. what is going on? any fix?

Simple your friend gave away his account to a random stranger they changed the password an easy free account for him. I would maybe try ringing Microsoft and say he just got hacked.

If the hacker is smart. You won't get it back. Gamertags get jacked all the time and people can't do much about it.

*DOUBLE FACEPALM* Well basically the guy stole your friends account, and the error message you are getting is because the kid already changed the e-mail and pw for the account (hence why he was on the dashboard not MW2), so all you can do is try calling up Microsoft and telling them what happened. Maybe try to get the original kids gamertag so they can track it, that's if he hasn't already changed his own gamertag.
