The Mayan calendar stopped at 2012, and apparently to scientology people that means we're going to die, or the world is going to end?

So, let's say I made a calendar and called it the Bryantopolis calendar, and I stopped putting years on it once I counted it to 2027, that means that the world will end? Highly doubt it.

Just because they stopped counting at 2012 means absolutely nothing.

the mayans predicted solar ecplises and stuff and the romas had prophecies it would happen and they live on opposite sides of the world....how would they both predict it would happen on the same date december 21 2012 ???? questions unanswered
