There is no such thing as "real music". Its all about what the person likes listening to.

So you are saying that people can't have their opinions? I am not taking a side in this because as a musician, i respect all music, but it seems like you are extremely biased.
People have the right to like what they want. Everyone is different. You can't tell them what "real" music is and what isn't. Their preferences dictate their "real" music.

Music is music.
Music is entertainment.
Entertainment is entertaining.
Lil Wayne (may) be entertaining to some.
There is no such thing as "real" music.
It's all about taste. As much as I hate Lil Wayne's music, he may be entertaining to some. I hate it when people complain about what people decide to sell as music, after all, it's entertainment. Since when has entertainment been completely truthful, anyway?

Im not saying that even though that may be how it seems i'm saying you shouldn't go with the crowd just because it has drugs, sex, money, power, ect. But go with what you like, i understand that alot of people still actually love most of these rappers its just that main stream rappers are showing young kids its alright to do drugs. The other day i was on a school bus(i volunteer) and the driver was blasting music and the 4th graders were singing about doing drugs and ect. and they knew what it was what it is and its going to ruin our country before anyone realizes it.
