This is how to view your ipod on the computer
** To anyone who is HAVING issues with the source mentioned in this video watch this: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] . )**
Ever wanted to view/control your iDevice on your computer? Now you can! Also In this video I show you how to fix your veency's (what you use to view/control it) "black screen issues"
This tutorial was made possible by the information given to me from l3gitjailbr3aks: ( [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] )
*Turn annotations on to get some good info*!
Steps (For getting normal Veency, look bellow to see how to fix "black Screen":
1. Download a vnc client: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] (PC only, for mac just google "mac vnc client" (real vnc works OK)!
2. Go into cydia
3. First search for veency
4. Download it
5. Open up vnc client on computer and input you iDevice's IP address (if sbsettings is installed then swipe over and look near the bottom where it says Wi-fi IP address or go into the settings app then wifi!)
6. Edit connection settings if you desire
7. Boom your in!
8. If this gives you a "black screen" then follow instructions bellow!
Steps (For Fixing "Black Screen"):
1. Download a vnc client: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] (PC only, for mac just google "mac vnc client" (cyber duck works OK)!
2. Go into cydia
3. Go to the manage tap at the bottom then sources then edit up at the top and add this source: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] it MUST HAVE THE / At the end or it WONT WORK!
4. Go into the source and scroll all the way to the bottom and install: Veency (FIXED)
5. Follow steps 5-7 on the normal installation method above!
6. Remove the source when your done installing other wise it will keep asking you to "update the app" !
