****PC Build Request Form****

Sorry to make a new one, budget was cut down a bit so I couldn't keep to the other :/

Budget & Currency: $1100 - I'm from UK but that's what it is in USD. Or 700 GBP.

Peripherals & Monitor:

Mouse - claw grip mouse
Keyboard - 50/50 of gaming and typing
Speakers - Actually not sure, just something which gives good quality sound but I'll be using headphones often so it's not something I want to spend much on.
Monitor - 20" 720p+.

Games: Call of duty, Minecraft, Battlefield... Basically any game that is quite popular, as it's for recording new games/development.

Software: Firefox, steam, photoshop, sony vegas, I will be recording xbox gameplay aswell.

Aesthetics: Just a good looking case, preferably red/black but if it looks good, I'm happy with that Smile

Rebates/Promos: Don't include.

Details: It's mostly for gaming so it needs to run fast and I will also be making videos. I'll also be using a Black Magic intensity pro, so it would have to support that and make smooth recordings (I already own that so it doesn't affect the budget)

A 2tb HDD would be ideal but if a small SSD would increase the quality, smoothness of videos then 1tb is fine

Total - 720.93 - parts were selection from @ [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

The Logitech G9X is a fantastic mouse and is recommended quite a bit. Regular DVD drive + 1TB Seagate for both boot and storage - there was no way I was able to shove an SSD in here without compromising on performance and/or quality. Zalman Z9 with a blue/black color scheme - could change it out for a HAF 912 / Bitfenix Shinobi which are in the same price range. Rock solid 2500k and future proof board will handle your in game recording whilst playing very easily. Fully modular 550w OCZ ZT with a 5 year warranty will make the build look a lot more clean and allow for better airflow. MSI 6850 video card with a low profile design would easily chop up and spit out COD and Minecraft for dinner while recording but in BF3 you may have to turn down texture quality to improve FPS. Acer monitor - standard TN panel but it is fully 1080p and looks O.K. If you don't need a mouse and KB right away, you can put more money towards where it counts like an aftermarket cooler, quick SSD, or a better video card. If you're find with re-using your ODD and HDD and saving over $100, that'd be awesome.

You need to understand that we are not on TTG 24/7 and we're not taking any profit from this.

I will start doing this in 20 minutes.

See for yourself. It ultimately depends on what you do.
