Soldiers are signed up for battle. It wouldn't be considered a massacre in Afghanistan unless it was a complete ambush of some sort. You also say that 100 soldiers die in about 6 months, well 70+ people (citizens) got shot in a span of minutes which resulted in 20+ deaths. THAT is a massacre, and it happened on US soil. 100 is more than 20, but the time frame, location, and situation matters here.

I just want to say something though... I understand this is terrible and i understand many people are sad, and afraid to go to the movies about copy cats and everything. But i mean its kinda getting pulled out of proportion. I mean they are jacking this up more then 9/11. People who said that its the biggest massacre in the U.S. Um... hello didnt you pay attention to your history books? First it was the English killing all the Indians. then 9/11... Thats all im saying

Bro don't you read the sticky's staff post for a REASON.
Colorado incident

It is terrible what happened and I pray for all the family's who have been affected but no one knew this would happen... I wish we could rewind time and change it all.
When you were mentioning about the Army, The people who are in US, UK Army etc... They SIGN up to the Army, they are NOT forced they choose to go in. I want to go into the Army, No one is forcing me. Yes I know soldiers are dieing for us but sadly that is what happens. Also you were saying that soldiers who get killed don't get mentioned in the news.
Well I don't know if they do that in the US but every time a soldiers dies from the UK etc... it will be mentioned on the news etc...

You were talking about poor country's for example parts of Africa, you said that no one is mentioning about them, well I don't know about the US because I don't live in the US, but I do know for a fact that the UK government are trying to help these countrys with charity's etc.. what are being affected by poverty, war etc..

You were talking about the 9/11 attacks, yes that was a un-describable attack. But no one ever knew this was going to happen hours before the attack, but EVERY death is a terrible thing, but sadly that is what the world is now like.

Prayer to the people who have been affected.
Dear father,
We pray for all the Family's who have been affected in the Colorado incident,
We pray for all the people who have been injured and hope they get better or
the people who have been shocked.
We pray that all the family's who have lost someone close to them.
We pray for the soldiers who are fighting for us in war.
We pray for the people who lost there life's and family's what were effected in 9/11.
Please father, look over them and take care of them.
Now we will finish with,
Our Father, Who art in heaven
Hallowed be Thy Name;
Thy kingdom come,
Thy will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us;
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil. Amen.

I might not of been the biggest massacre ever, but it will still pretty big.

Innocent people going to the Movies and get shot at..

And some killed.

Right, but third world countries don't have news crews.

I doubt they called it "the biggest massacre ever" because that's a very loaded statement that no good reporter would say publicly.

What im trying to say is is that 3rd world countrys it happens all the time and gets so little media attention and in US and UK if even 1 person was killed media is all over it.

VUL7AGE wrote Someone dressing up in a ballistic suit with a gas mask on and shooting 70+ people isn't important? Man, some kids are just blind in this era.

No doubt its breaking news and not good, but I've been to the middle east and that's like an average day in bad parts of certain countries.

Syria is a battlefield right now and 90% of the country can't even find Syria on a map.

What I'm saying is our problems are a walk in the park compared to oppressed countries.
