Yah, I hate it when my lil bro cries about me listening to heavy metal and dubstep when HE listens to Nirvana. I don't think an eleven year old should listen to Nirvana, that's just my opinion.

Temptedd wrote know the diffrence between RAP & Rock
RAP- WEED , CARS, MONEY , SEX, & HOESS
Rock- LIFE, ANTI SUICIDE , LOVE (NOT SEX), STAND UP FOR WHAT YOU BELIEVE
That is true about rap know a days... it's a shame how all these kids think fake terrible rappers like lil wayne, mac miller, drake, etc. are the best and real rappers like 2pac, biggie smalls, big l, eminem, etc. are bad

I can deny it. They both have there good and bad song/raps. Now, I don't listen to rap usually but I have heard some nice, clean raps. I have heard a ton of dirty rock songs also (which is annoying.) Mainstream rap is dirty though, that is true. Some mainstream rock is dirty, but not all.

While this may be true, rock got old. The newer generation is listening to hiphop music, so stop bashing. By no means is rock anti-suicide, and rock has no flow whatsoever.

Minnesota_Nice wrote Yeah and I listen to rap about:
Family, faith, life stories, and good times

But there is rock about:
Death, drugs, suicide, and "sex" not love.

We clearly see that you are biased towards Rock. Thanks for sharing.
That was the music back then, Now it's like this now.... That's what i was trying to point out...

No that's music now, you listen to the wrong rappers if you think all rap songs are about weed sex and money.

Both genres have talked about almost everything. The only thing different is talent. It takes talent to play a guitar, it doesn't take talent to talk.
