Hey guys.

I just dropped my xbox controller and the LB is not working good. I have to press HARD to get the thing to get it to work.

I contacted xbox and...
I told them I got it 3 weeks ago ( i lied.. i got it with my xbox a year ago ) but it is in good conduction.

They told me they can give me a replacement but i will need to send them my controller 1st and pay for that shipping and they will give me a replacement..and they will cover the shipping on the way back.

Is there anyway to fix it without opening the controller
( if i open it i can't send it to them)

Or should i just send it to them?

They gave me a service # and the address where to ship it too.
Thanks.

Just ship it to them, you get a free one.

Thats very weird, they always pay for the shipping, I would call again and talk to someone else, and I would just send it in.

I would just send it in and be done with it. I mean, you are getting a new controller for way lower than noemal price

To open your pad you'd need Torq screwdrivers of which I bet you don't have hanging around.

You may need to also purchase a replacement part(s).

I suggest eliminating the hassle and potential higher costs and send it in to microsoft.
