you cant really make out the quality of from just focusing it on a tv screen but from that it seems decent

try recording something besides a tv to give us a better understanding on how good this camera is

You don't want to use a handheld camera to record gameplay man, trust me! You need to get a capture device! Roxio, Elgato, Hauppauge, Aver... All great devices, handheld cameras are for other things, not recording gameplays!
