When I start up my windows vista it loads up then a black screen comes up and say "windows failed to start. A recent hardware or software change might be the cause.to fix the problem: 1.insert your windows installation disc and restart your computer. 2.choose your language settings, and then click next.3.click repair your computer. File: ntoskrn1.exe Status:0x00000098 Info:windows failed to load because a required file is missing,or corrupt.<<<plz help me fix that.because I don't have the disc

I once got an error like that, I just installed windows 7 since Vista is a POS OS. If you cant get a hold of a Win7 install disk, try doing a system restore.

Right when you start up your PC, on the screen where it says to press to enter BIOS there should be another option. Press that key and then it will launch start up repair. From there you can select system restore.

On the screen that it says press a button to go to bios, there should be another option select that option, not bios. To get windows 7 you need to buy it.
