I was wondering if it were possible for you to be able to build a mob dropper for my creep survival arena.

I have made 3 Long columns for the mobs to drop down to the arena floor, than be pushed out into the arena itself by pistons.

I am not yet sure how to get the mobs in the columns to spawn at the right moment. Alternative: i put lots of mobs in the column, then a redstone powered piston opens for
1-2 seconds, allowing mobs to fall through, then closes. i am not sure if this will work because i dont know if mobs are able to stand on each others heads.

The other big problem is, its a superflat world. Meaning its 3 blocks, then bedrock, then the inevitable doom.

If you could reply/message me on TTG that'd be great.

I mainly just want to know if this is possible to create.

i want a flat door for example, im in a forest just a flat floor i could push a button or lever or pressure plate and a 2x4 area pulls down then across and opens up as stairs below
