So when my friend playes arma 2 arma 3 and dayz he gets pixels hes looked up quite a few fixes and none have worked i dont really know his pc specs i think an amd 7950 but dont take my word and he has an i5 2500k oc to like 4.0 he tried lowering the clock clearing his hdd going into catalyst control center and edit some settings in there not too sure what but he still has the problem anyone have the same problem or know a possible fix

Try resetting your graphics card? Or uninstalling then reinstalling it

I think he just needs to update his drivers, I had the same problem with just cause 2 ! Just update his Ati drivers !

The way it seems, there are two possible problems.
1. His drivers are
a. not up-to-date
b. conflicting
I advice clearing ALL gpu driver history, that way there can be no "skidmarks". There are several programs that will automatically find any file related to gpu drivers and delete them, and that's what you want. Clear out all video drivers, then simply re-install the lastest drivers from a safe website.
A program I use personally use is called DriverSweeper. A download can be found [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
2. His graphics card is damaged/defective.
And this raises a lot of new questions, like when he bought the gpu, from where, existing warranty, etc.? If the driver solution does nothing, try contacting the company that made the specific card. if he has a warranty, they should be able to replace it no sweat. Or if he ordered from newegg or similar sites, just call them and they will usually handle it. But beware, some companies are notorious for bad costumer support.
