HD PVR is the best and cost the most but if your not wanting to spend as much money get a dazzle with an S-video cable looks HD and is a great value for money.

EcKoxSoldier wrote HD PVR is the best and cost the most but if your not wanting to spend as much money get a dazzle with an S-video cable looks HD and is a great value for money.I had an EasyCap 2.0 off of eBay for only $10.00 (after shipping and taxes). I hooked it up with standard cords and S-Video, then later went out and bought a Dazzle DVC100 and hooked it up thinking it had a massive rendering difference - but it doesn't. Dazzles are in middle of a fad, just because the "pros" use them, other people might - when in reality, the EasyCap is just as good if not better. I recommend either going straight for the PVRs, or spending nothing and getting an EasyCap; don't go in the middle because the qualities the same. That's what I think, and I've tested about 4 different video cards before falling in love with my BlackMagic.

Black magic if you want the best.
Dazzle if you are ok with anything and are just starting off.

Depends on how much you willing to spend.
A Dazzle DVC 100 costs $50-$60.
An HD PVR is $180-$200.
