8GB is terrible. I have a 250GB Hard drive for my Xbox 360 right now... Am I the only one that likes to download all their games to their hard drive in fear of it getting scratched and having to pay for replacements?

Nope I have a 250 GB as well and only have about 47 GB left, and I hardly play my Xbox 360. I have a lot of games downloaded onto my hard drive just for that reason of them getting scratched. EDIT: Never mind after re-reading the post it was about RAM. But I still do keep everything stored on my hard drive.

So, easier to mod is now a plus for PlayStation? That would seem like something I would want to avoid, which is also another reason why Xbox charges. It keeps their security up. I'm not a fan of this whole "Needs to get online about every 24 hours, the game is coded into your profile, and the Kinect always has to be on", but Xbox is looking really nice in my opinion. Maybe I'm just old school, but I don't need a touchscreen on my controller. It would get more annoying than anything, unless I could use it to quickly change music on my console. I'm like the Xbox because it has almost everything the PlayStation has plus more. It's even going to implement that one feature that I thought would only be PlayStation where you can take control in someone else's game for them. Xbox has some mandatory things that kind of bugs me, but doesn't kill my view on the console.

I'm feeling the same way with that. The internet connection every 24 hours isn't a problem for me but the Kinect is. I hate having stuff I'm not going to use just lying around or plugged into something. I don't care for touch screen controllers because it would be just too different for me. I've had a PS3 before, didn't like it, got a 360 and it was better for me, I'm going to wait till E3 to make my final decision on which console to get but it more and likely will be the Xbox One

Can you please provide evidence of it being free? Numerous people have told me it will not only be 'Pay to Play', but it will cost more.

It JUST needs to be plugged in! You don't have to use it. :facepalm:

Example:
I come home from buying the Xbox one. Walk into my room smaller then a bathroom (seriously, it is), face the kinect towards the wall and use the controller. Simple.

I'm sure you have an option to turn off the kinect voice recognition or when your signed in, it only recognizes your voice.

As far as modding. :facepalm: Brand new consoles, we aren't sure which one will be more "mod able". If you really want to mod, then I would suggest a PC. Far better capabilities for modding, just more expensive.

Yes, because it looks different means its going to suck, how could I have forgotten? Idiot. Who the hell cares what it looks like?! If it functions how its said to be and new, who cares!? I personally cant wait for it. I am pre-ordering it and going to the mid night release. I think the features that were shown were absolutely fantastic. People are forgetting that Xbox is not JUST A GAMING CONSOLE anymore. New things do WAY more things than just one. Its the 21st century. Things can and will do many activities at once than ever before.

I hope what you said about the live is actually true. But damn, I just bought two one year live codes for my accounts bbn)
Also, easier to mod is a good thing (in a way) because you can choose whether you want to mod or not....if you think it's boring, suit yourself but other people might want 10th at everything, and that shouldn't affect you. The only mods, IMO, that are bad are aimbot and wallhack and stuff like that....not diamond guns for everything -_-

I am also thinking about switching to PlayStation but I really like xbox, just not the things they are doing with the xbox one

It's free because it's terrible. Nobody would pay monthly for a console that gets hacked.

I agree with you! Integrating too much technology is not always the best thing ya know? When I say easier to mod, I mean profile and gamesave modding, because I hate people that use mods online in an actual Matchmade game.
