You can only share games on PS4 through giving them the disc. On xbox you can share them through a library so you don't even need to know them IRL.

No and yes. I mean with the PS4 all you have to do is just give your friend the disc and boom, you're sharing it.

With the Xbox One you have a circle of 10 friends/family who have instant access to your games library. And they can play any one of your games from anywhere in the world, instantly. As far as I know only one person can play it. (Just like it would be if you lend a physical disc.) But I've hard some people say both you and your friend can play at the same time as long as your disc is in the console.

Anyway. lets say your cousin that lives across the country buys a game he loves. He calls you up and says "Hey you NEED to check out this game!" All you would have to do is go to his profile and start playing the game. Trying to do that with a physical disc would be hard.
