Ok this is how it works when I get three people I will go to theater and infect you then join a team tac game kill yourself 3 times then when your host leave the game when you back out do not prestige yet play 2-3 FULL GAMES I recommend TDM then after you have done that back out to the main menu then go back to multiplayer and you should still be lvl 50 this means your prestige has sticked and you are now safe to prestige.
