I think the main problem for me in PC is that a lot of people on PC aren't very nice, and it can be hard to get friends. Consoles generally have nice people, thus making more friends.

I will say that the PC is a very powerful device for gaming. It requires a lot of money, though. Something I don't have at the moment.

Consoles will be better than before. Consoles are easy access to games, movies, and TV. Consoles require some money, but that's about it. All games will work on a console.

You can play COD on PC, with better framerate, and still use the Xbox controller.

Honestly, I'd go with what the majority of your friends are buying (unless you don't have friends that play video games). All have pro's and con's.

Xbox
Pro's:
- Best social console
- Got some really cool features
Con's:
- Most expensive

PS4
Pro's:
- Best exclusives (obviously this is down to personal preferences)
- Cheaper than Xbox
Con's:
- Terrible servers

PC
Pro's:
- Cheapest in the long run
- A lot more variety
Con's:
- Certain games you're limited
