Posted beforehand about my derpy GPU not liking my old TV and its confirmed, tried it with another one and problem is fixed. Sadly i can't steal this TV from my dear old mother so i need a monitor.
Now i want something pretty cheap if possible, i don't mind upgrading later just need something decent and some of you are probably better at monitors and less lazy than me.

The top one would be the best choice, due to the IPS panel.
Get the top one here. A bit more expensive than yours but the IPS panel makes a HUGE difference with both colours and viewing angles.

Cheeky update, got a nice tax rebate cheque sent to me, bless the HMRC. So i can drop a little more money on the monitor if its worth it. The one below that r00t recommended me looks pretty sweet for its money and i like a good looking thing.
Any more suggestions if i set my budget for around 150GBP? For reference my GPU had Dual DVI ports, HDMI and dual mini-DP ports. Would it be worth spending more for DP connectivity?

I'm still wondering if you need integrated speakers...

The monitor r00t suggested is good for the money but these are better in my opinion.

The biggest difference between the two monitors is the 1ms response time that won't be noticeable.
I'd be more leaning towards the AOC monitor for the aesthetics to be honest.

r00ts one is VERY good for the price, with a thin bezel that doesn't stick out and it has full IPS, not the cheaply type.
