austin3698 wrote Well this popped up and it changed my background it says that I have to pay 200 hundred dollars to get all my stuff back because it encrypted all my photos and stuff and it showed all my search history and everything.

What??? lol

Download maleware bytes and run a full scan then remove anything that shows up and restart your pc...

[ Register or Signin to view external links. ] . malwarebytes. org/lp/lp4/?gclid=CPqwt92LorsCFecRMwod5FEAtw
Remove spaces^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Download the free version make sure you wait till the scan is finished then delete everything it finds...

I remember my step-dad had the same thing happen to his computer, I forgot exactly what virus it is and how exactly to fix it, but go to [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] and search it up, it should tell you exactly how to fix it, it's a pretty reliable website.

You can do this but I suggest download Male ware bytes I posted a link above...I guarantee it will remove whatever you have...like I said run a full scan then delete all the results then restart your computer...then post back the results if it is gone or not...simple as that

When my step-dad had the virus on his computer he couldn't run any programs on it, they could only be run through boot menu and select a alternate device to boot from. Basically if he has what I'm thinking he has, then he can't download Malware Bytes and can't run the program, from what I remember he has to get this certain file and put it on a bootable USB drive or disc and boot the computer using that, and then get rid of the virus using the file on the USB/disc

Oh I see lol this is why I scan everything I download I dont care what it is and if its sketchy at all don't download it lol..

But if you can run malware bytes then great but if not do what chillest told you to do go to that website find what it is then do what is recommended to solve the issue...

Yupp, whatever virus you got (Starting to sound more like a RAT) Gives the other person full access to your camera and everything else on your computer
