I love my boys from Indianapolis. My favorite player from the Colts would have to be Andrew Luck or T.Y. Hilton.
Why I like them:
Andrew Luck-Stepped up into the shadow of the almighty Peyton Manning, and still delivered a better than average, 11-5 season. And then this year, still delivers a 11-5 season, and a chance to go all the way!
T.Y. Hilton-Being drafted in the 3rd round, and then getting 50 receptions with 860 yards, while also averaging 17 yards,is quite incredible for a rookie. Then this year, averaging 13 yards with 1,080 yards, is amazing. All around great player, and crucial in our offense.
Favorite player that's not on the Colts: Peyton Manning.
Has been my favorite player since I was little. He, in my opinion, ranks in the Top 7 Quarterbacks to play in the history of the NFL (My Opinion). Easily the best current Quarterback currently playing(also my opinion).
He's outstanding on the field, and off. No criminal records, goes out of his way to do extracurricular activities such as the Gatorade Replay of Phillipsburg Vs. Easton. Held at Lafayette College, The two teams, Phillipsburg, NJ (My hometown) Vs. Easton, PA. They're both huge rivals, and had a tied game 7-7 in 1993. So what better way to settle it, is to bring the old players back out and have them play it out to see who wins. After enduring the 90 degree weather, the winner was Phillipsburg. But that wasn't the important part. The important part was Peyton and Eli Manning, were coaches for each side. I went to this game, and the best part was clapping Peytons hand! I endured the scorching weather, but it was all made better just being able to see my favorite player in person.
Sorry for the wall of text, I love football, and I have a lot to say about it!
Hope you guys enjoy the playoffs/Superbowl this year, and all because the Cowboys aren't in it!! :p
