i have a xbox manf date 09-07 it has error code E74 but i was wanting to jtag it. is there a permanet fix for that code or will it work fine to do a couple lobbies. any links or diagrams for this model will be aprreciated

well im gonna try to remove x clamps and use washers. anyone have a diagram for zepher mother board showing all connections

Which dashboard was the xbox on? If its the new one then you can't Jtag it.

E74 isnt a prema error, it is caused alot by overheating which may be fixed by an xclamp fix. as far as the jtag question goes, that follows a certain criteria.
1. manufactured before june 18, 2009
2. not been online since june 2009
3. dash of 2.0.7371 and before.

dam i didn't look at the dash board before starting.
i have the lpt wires connected having problems with the one Jtag point any suggestions?
is there something im supposed to do on the computer after doing the lpt connections and before jtag connections?

was also wondering once jtag is complete can i then use a external HDD through usb port or is that another mod?
