was wondering which engine you would recommend. please know what your talking about before responding thanks. So brief history i bought this car as a 93 hatch bone stock with the ka24de 5spd and 31,000 mi. with it being so low on miles i bought every bolt on possible for it still wasnt satisfied so i went ahead and made it a ka-t for those of you who dont know its the ka turbod. it was fun bout 250hp on 8psi tune with a t4 turbo. was getting bored of beating stock v8 cars so out comes the ka-t swapped in the rb25det just about 400hp after upgraded turbo 4" exhaust and a tune. that was fun beating bolt on v8s def loved smacking a $70000 corvette.lol now im bored its time for a new change again any suggestions? btw its no longer a hatch after last motor change i bought a coupe roller and swapped all parts into it.

If I were you, I would just build the shit out of that rb25. Those motors are known to handle insane amounts of power cause the iron blocks are strong as hell. After the RB25, theres obviously the 2J and RB26 but both are ridiculously pricey. Or if you do some sort of LS swap and build that. My mechanic is building his LS engine in his 240 with a procharger and built internals and its gonna be close to 900hp

DROP A 2JZ-GTE in it, the NON vvti version. Covert it to a single turbo and build the internals etc etc. You won't be disappointed.

Currently own a cressida with a 2jz in it. Redoing the whole setup, Hoping to bring in close to 750hp to daily drive the car. daily it on 10psi and I'll be racing on 25psi. Those are my goals currently.

ill work on getting a few pics up. im running a visciuos lsd with 800hp rated axles, one piece alum drive shaft which doesnt matter thats the 2nd one ive bought due to motor swaps and needing different lengths, rb25 tranny, nistune tune stage 3, 300zx brakes all the way around.........
the rb25 can be a beast itself when im not running safe tune when i bump it up to 20psi she screams but im bored with it. just another 240 with an rb motor at the end of the day
seems like alot of 2jz is what people want. me personally i want something off the wall not something mainstream done.
as far as the lsx motors i do agree they are sick but i am not a fan of gm motors myself.
id like to see if i couldnt do some sort of diesel build in it ( def be one of a kind) i mean when you can buy a bullydog kit and a set of bigger injectors you can get the cummins inline 6 to 1000hp plus.way cheaper then getting a gas motor that high.
ok guys now think a little more on the outside of the box.lol thanks for all the input though
