Okay, so I know how to restore factory defaults etc.
I tried to restore it earlier and it restarts the PC as expected, says "Windows is Loading Files" etc so everything is normal. Then it asks me to enter my password then takes me to my Desktop and does nothing.
I am not sure if you get the aspect of where I am coming from but hopefully, long story short it takes me to my where I enter my password to access my PC instead of system repair or whatever it is.
Any help is appreciated.

What operating system are you using?
Whats the make and model of your PC/Laptop?
Do you have the windows installation disc?

Go to
Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Recovery\Advanced Recovery Methods
or hit start and type in 'factory' Then select Re-install windows or something along them lines.

I have found a link as well as a video that should help you to restoring your PC if you are still having trouble doing so.

You can always completely re install windows for a clean start.
That's what I do.
