Depending on where your router is, a WiFi adapter may be a better choice.
Worth looking at the adapters, at least. I use them and I still get very fast speeds with them. My router is only upstairs a bit, so I could have probably ran an ethernet cable through the ceiling, but felt like it was a waste of time lel.
OP-Ethernet cable through the ceiling is another option, powerline adapters are 2nd best IMO, worth looking in to them at the very least.
