It seems when i make use of my GPU after a while (can be minutes or hours) it cuts out and i get no signal to monitor. The PC has been fine all year. I have used google and found many posts but haven't actually managed to find a solution. Keep in mind my GPU still runs and i can still hear everything from the game in the background.

I understand that there could be many different reasons for why this is happening but i was wondering if anyone has ever experienced this issue and steps they took to resolve it.

GPU: EVGA GTX 760 OC 2GB

I have already tried re-installing my GPU drivers but the problem still seemed to persist.

I have also opened the case and cleaned it out but there wasn't that much dust so i don't think that is the problem considering It's cleaned out but I'm still having the same problem.

ok those temps are perfectly fine

i guess the next thing to try is a different DVI/VGA/HDMI cable I would also check for damage on the cards IO (For bent pins and what not) you can also put your DVI/VGA/HDMI cable into a different port on the card and see if it's just the port that's being weird

you can also try to clear the CMOS that might help

you find out how by going here
Forums/t=7557016/ultimate-pc-repa...guide.html

then under "PC Maintenance" there is a section about clearing the CMOS

still having issues:

I have been having this issue for about a week, i think it may have happened when the new drivers came out but that could just be a coinsidence as i have already tried getting help over at the geforce forums and tried removing all drivers using DDU and going back to a few older drivers and still no difference.

At first i thought the issue only occured after playing games, could be a minute or a couple of hours but then it started happening when just browsing the internet or watching youtube and sometimes at startup. When this happens i am forced to reset my pc using the power button.

things i have tried:
- Opened the case and cleaned out any dust(wasn't much) and reseated the GPU.
- Tried various amount of drivers doing a clean install only installing Physx and nesscesary GPU drivers.

- made sure all cables were connected correctly.
- tried different plug sockets
-tried different monitor.
- turned power to maximum in the nvidia control panel

build:
PSU: XFX 550W
CPU: I5 4690K(haven't done any over clocking)
GPU: EVGA 2GB GTX 760 SUPER CLOCKED edition
MOBO: GIGABYTE GA-Z97P-D3
